When clients approach us with business challenges and also agree to explore offshore outsourcing as an option, we first try to choose companies from our network that are most suitable to meet these challenges. This choice is conducted during the Discovery Phase of our client engagement. Our goal is to find the most suitable companies taking into account technical capabilities, domain knowledge, offshore experience, price and client references.
Our selection of suitable Indian companies is typically completed during the Definition Phase of our engagement with the client. As part of this selection process, we urge each of these companies to prepare a comprehension report on the client's business problems and possible solutions. Selected companies participate in responding to the RFP floated in the subsequent Design Phase of our client engagement. At the end of the Design Phase, an offshore partner is selected by our client based on our recommendations. If no suitable offshore provider is found, we enable our client to define alternative plans.
In the Development Phase, our client and their offshore partner start direct interactions. OMNISPAN plays the role of project manager on the client end, as appropriate, during this phase. Our role gradually diminishes, as our client and their offshore partner gain self reliance in managing the integrated in-house, offshore operations.
