TI Inc. incrementally enhanced the size and complexity of projects allocated to India (Crawl,Walk,Run). Our founder led the Technology CAD group in TI India and facilitated this integration exercise.
Implementation Steps Followed
We participated in laying the foundation for effective offshore governance:
- Planning cycles conducted every year in 3Q. Strategic plans were set for the coming year.
- Project Managers from India, travelled to US to define projects for next year
- Project Managers in India reported functionally to Program Management at Dallas, with administrative reporting to the local Indian office.
- Project Specifications were made in the US, and projects were executed in India.
- Once a quarter visits were made to India by strategy and program managers from Dallas to do status check, meet the people, do team building.
- TI's standard training on management was provided to the team in India.
